01. Problem
Plants in homes and schools can suffer from inconsistent watering, including both overwatering and underwatering.
02. Technical Solution
Developed a smart watering unit using real-time soil moisture monitoring with visual emoji indicators, custom watering delays, a pump system, manual button controls, and a refillable 200–500 ml tank.
03. Demonstrated Impact
Combines plant care with practical STEM learning by introducing students to sensors, actuators, embedded control and automated watering.
